What type of poop is this?

This is not the post I was thinking about writing today.

But here we are. Living in a house with rodents. And bugs. And weird smells.

I hate rodents. The thought of mice in the house is appalling. But the idea I could have rats or squirrels?

Even worse. So, so, so,

What type of poop is this?

Found between the first and second floor of the house. I have sprayed it with a vast quantity of Dettol.

The same area where the bathtub had either a squirrel or a chipmunk nesting in the insulation around the tub.

I am not sure which is worse. A rat or a squirrel. If you know what type of poop this is, please let me know.

In the meantime, here is a box elder beetle in the bathroom.

Box Elder beetle. They are everywhere.

The buzzing fly trap in my office. I look up at this from my desk.

I am listening to fly die on this fly trap as I write. Oh, and it is not raining. That is the condensation on the inside of the storm window, which thank goodness, may be replaced in the next two months. We have put in a order.

My husband has told me he has lived in better conditions while deployed. 

Sigh.
